Bhagat Singh’s kin killed in Himachal Pradesh road mishap

The grandnephew of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh died of grave injuries he sustained after his motorbike reportedly skidded on a wet road in Rampur district, around 135 km away from Shimla, late on Saturday evening. The accident took place when Abhitej was returning home with two of his friends, Gurpal Singh and Abhitesh Singh, who were following him in their car. Superintendent of Police, Shimla, P D W Negi told The Indian Express that they have handed over the body to Abhitej’s father Abhay Singh Sandhu after conducting the post-mortem examination.
