In an early morning operation, Kullu district administration joined by the Army and the ITBP rescued two more trekkers who were part of the eight member team that went missing at 12,000 feet-high Khandrakhani Pass in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district. Additional DGP (Law and Order) Sanjay Kundu informed that after weather cleared this morning, a helicopter and rescue teams were sent to airlift remaining two trekkers, after six others of the expedition team were brought to Kullu safely on Sunday evening. Seven of them, engineering students from Punjab based Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal were on week-long expedition from Naggar valley of Manali to Kullu via Malana.
